The retirement ceremony of "Volleyball Legend" Moon Sung-min will be held on June 6.

The Korea Volleyball Association said on the 20th, "Moon Sung-min's retirement ceremony will be held during the warm-up match between the Korean men's national team and the Netherlands at 2 p.m. on the 6th at Yoo Gwan-soon Gymnasium in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do."

Moon Sung-min served as the mainstay of the national team for 13 years from 2006 to 2019. During this period, he won the gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, the bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, and the silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang.

The Korean national team led by Heo Soo-bong (Hyundai Capital) and Hwang Taek-ui (KB Insurance) will hold two warm-up matches against the Netherlands, with its foreign powerhouse Mihil Ahi (Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance) at the forefront from June 6-7.
